The Tuttletown Recreation Area is located on Highway 49 north of Sonora proper. Facilities include 2 public campgrounds with 320 campsites plus a private marina with boat rentals. Houseboat rentals are available for weekend, midweek, and weekly vacations. There are 6 launch ramps with 24 lanes.
